Oh man Bilbao is good. Benson was on hand to capture the shenanigans for Ride UK so don't expect too much detail here. This is the view from half way up Bilbao.....we were nosey and explored the city pretty thoroughly. If you get anywhere towards the outside of the city (always up a steep hill) you will be treated....there are whole zones with rails in every shape and form + a million set ups, a hint at which you can find below.
Empty Algorta in the sun? What? Some skaters (straight out of Animal Chin) scuttled over and warned about peg use but after that everything was chill. They liked Miller's lookbacks and shared a smoke. Click the photo for a better view.
This spot never quite worked out and gave Gav a(nother) meaty paw. Dunno what was across the road but we kept getting accosted by dudes that acted like tweekers but carried Police ID and didn't want us anywhere near their building.....weird. This zone has rich pickings. Nose to the floor!
This is the view from our balcony in the old town.....apart from the lack of colour. You could witness specimens of every variety from this perch. No-one in Bilbao speaks English and they don't give a sh*t it you like or not.....luckily we loved it.
Shaun Jinks has been on Proper since before it existed. That's nearly a decade with no coverage.....good things come to those that wait sometimes. Toothy at one Bilbao spot you might be aware of......this was the start of things to come.
