IX Bars

Shaun Jinks pops a 180 out of curved wall under some watchful eyes (see City Series London for the moving version).
We made these bars for Shaun because he wanted some bars with less backsweep than is currently available.(having run TTL bars for the last 3 or 4 years). Pretty much every bar on the market has 10-12 degree backsweep and 1-4 degree upsweep, which is pretty crazy given the massive variations a few short years ago.
These bars have 9 (IX) degree backsweep. Shaun wanted extra strong bars since he usually rides at a harsh concrete park and throws his bike rather than risking injury if it comes down to a choice. In order to compensate for this we opted for triple butting (Shaun originally wanted straight gauge initially but we thought that was overkill) and a higher (and thicker) than usual cross bar. The bars are ED Black so the knurling is free of excess paint.
Look for these in stores early in 2012.
