When we first met Michael Beran it was at the Backyard Jam in Brighton - whilst he could front flip the box his peddling left a little to be desired. Around a year later Michael came on tour with us (in a minibus) from the UK to Holland and ending up in Southern France......
Michael had become fairly adept at peddling but the bus broke down nr Lyon causing untold woe. Somehow I think we all have good memories from that trip. At this point Michael was already riding for Redbull and string of companies not commonly associated with BMX.
The next time we saw Michael was on the UK Proper camping trip, it rained every day and we call got drenched. Most people got through the harshness by getting royally loose every night, whereas Michael usually retired fairly early to his tent......he never complained once.
Today Michael sent us this link to a new project from Snickers he's involved with. It's got some pretty cool riding clips and some amazing web programming.........I don't know what to say. I guess Michael is big time in the Czech Republic!
